Purpose

This page is designed to provide guidance about grants based on questions frequently received in Ottenheimer Library.  In addition to the resources in this guide, the answers will recommend UALR departments that can provide assistance.

Q) Which department at UALR deals with grant writing?

A) Start with the Office of Research & Sponsored Programs (ORSP) :  501.569.8474 or orsp@ualr.edu

 

Q) Does Ottenheimer Library have access to Grants.gov?

A) The University account for Grants.gov is available with assistance from ORSP (see above for contact info)

 

Q) Do you have resources for help with writing and formatting a grant proposal?

 A) In addition to contacting ORSP, you should look at some of the books in the Ottenheimer Library collection.  The appropriate subject heading for the catalog is "Proposal Writing for Grants" and many of the books can be found HG 177 or HV 41.2 sections of the 4th floor.

 

Q) Are there any online resources for assistance in writing grant proposals?
