Arklink Cards

The ARKLink Library Consortium is a voluntary association of all 47 academic libraries in the state of Arkansas. ARKLink member libraries participate in a statewide reciprocal borrowing program using the ARKLink Card. This will allow students to borrow books from other participating members, under the guidelines set by the loaning library.

Current UALR students, faculty, and staff can obtain an ARKLink Card from the UALR Ottenheimer Library Operations Desk.

* This card does not provide off-site access to online databases offered at these libraries. Those are restricted to on-site use, if allowed by that library.

UALR Law Library

The UALR William H. Bowen School of Law Library may be of assistance at time in your research, but it is strongly recommended that you exhaust all options available via the UALR Ottenheimer Library before contacting the law library.

Some of the resources at the law library are limited to use by School of Law students only. And, while some of their databases will be accessible, you will have to visit the law library to use them. The off-campus access is also restricted to School of Law students only.

Borrow from Another Library

There will be times when your topic of interest is not well represented in the book collections of the UALR Ottenheimer Library. That is not a reason to give up. It just requires that you search other libraries for materials and possibly request them via Interlibrary Loan.

One of the best places to start searching other libraries is a database known as WorldCat. This database searches the holdings of thousands of libraries worldwide, many of whom will loan books to this library.
