Caldecott Award Winners

About This Award


Named in honor of nineteenth-century English illustrator Randolph Caldecott, the Caldecott Medal has been awarded annually since 1938 under the supervision of the Association for Library Service to Children.  It is presented to the artist of the most distinguished American picture book for children published during the preceding year.
