The Michael L. Printz Award is given annually for a book that exemplifies literary excellence in young adult literature. Readers between the ages of 13 and 18 are generally considered young adults. Printz was a school librarian from Topeka, Kansas, who was a long-time active member of the Young Adult Library Services Association. The award is sponsored by the American Library Association publication Booklist.
Few libraries will have all the books you need at the time you need them.
The Other Libraries link on the UALR Ottenheimer Library Web site helps you locate books in area libraries. Select a library from the list and search their online catalog for the book you want.
