Engaging with Course Content with Social Annotation

Tools that meet your needs

Choose a social annotation tool that fits your course needs.  Consider free and low-cost options that provide individual, password protected access to only instructors and enrolled students. Here are three options to consider, but they are not the only options.

  • Course Reading Lists by Ottenheimer Library
    • Available through Blackboard using UALR Single Sign-On
    • Students enrolled in your course automatically loaded
    • Search library content, add web content, upload instructor content.
  • Hypothesis
    • Free web-based version option available
    • Instructor and students create individual accounts
    • Create private "groups" for students in your course
