In addition to writing down the location and call number, remember to check the "Status" column before you go to the shelf to pull the item. Be sure it has not already been checked out by another person. If you cannot find a book you are looking for, please ask at the Circulation Desk on the first floor for assistance.
If you are searching from off campus, you can also request that circulating materials be pulled for you and held at the Circulation Desk. Select the Request button and fill in the necessary information. Please allow at least 24 hours for the materials to be pulled. You will receive an email when your items are ready for check out.

The UALR Ottenheimer Library will not have every book you desire, but we are able to obtain many from other libraries. The best means of searching for materials not in Ottenheimer Library is WorldCat, also known as OCLC, provides information on worldwide library holdings of books, periodicals, theses, dissertations, media, and other materials. If you know of a book you need that Ottenheimer Library does not own, you can search it here to see which other libraries have copies. In many cases, our Interlibrary Loan department can obtain the book for you from another library.
