Current Issues

 Access to the current week is available electronically.  Please inquire at the front desk for further information.  Older editions can be found on the North end of the third floor. (Turn left when you exit the elevators.)


The Arkansas Gazette is available on microfilm from 1865 - 1991. 

The Arkansas Democrat is available on microfilm from January 1898  - October 1991.

The Arkansas Democrat-Gazette is available on microfilm from October 1991 - December 2018. 

The Ottenheimer Library does not have access to the 2019 issues of the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette.  Online access is available thru the Central Arkansas Library System (CALS).  For more information, please ask a librarian or contact CALS.

Microfilm and readers/printers are located on the third floor. Assistance with equipment is available at The Desk on the first floor.


The Arkansas Democrat-Gazette web site offers full-text access:

1)  The current day's paper is accessible at ArkansasOnline. Access to selected articles will require a subscription and others are free.

2) Older articles must be purchased and requires the creation of an online account with the newspaper.  Article packages are also available for various time periods and quantities of files. 

3) No maps, photos, classified ads, or advertising are available in the archives.
