The World Bank Open Knowledge Repository collects, disseminates, and permanently preserves its intellectual output in digital form. Included in the repository are World Bank books, Development Reports, Policy Research Working Papers and numerous other studies and journal articles. Subjects cover any topic/program given World Bank funding for research. Coverage: Varies by type of publication.
If the UALR Ottenheimer Library does not have the books you need, it is possible to search libraries across the country for books of interest using WorldCat,. It is recommended that you begin searching in WorldCat with the same terms used in our catalog, expecting a much larger set of results. Materials found in WorldCat can be requested via Interlibrary Loan.
In addition to writing down the location and call number, remember to check the "Status" column before you go to the shelf. Some books are not on the shelf because they are checked out or recently returned.
If you are working from off-campus, you can request that a book be pulled and held for you. While looking at the record for individual books, you will find a Request button. Select that and provide your NetID and NetID password. It may take up to 24 hours for the book to be pulled and tagged for you.
If you cannot find a book you are looking for, please ask for assistance at the Circulation Desk.
