Researching Congressional Resources

One of the most widely known congressional publications is the hearing.

These provide:

  •  text of the discussions in the meetings of a particular committee
  •  include testimony from experts in the field being investigated.
  •  budget hearings  discuss funding of projects and other hearings (experts often provide testimony for or against a subject under debate)

Researching European Union Publications

The European Union is a unique economic and political partnership between 27 European countries. The UALR Otteneheimer Library is the only library in Arkansas with the publications from the EU agencies. While the older materials are available in the circulating collection, the more recent publications are frequently free online.
