United Nations - The United Nations is an international organization founded in 1945 after the Second World War by 51 countries committed to maintaining international peace and security, developing friendly relations among nations and promoting social progress, better living standards and human rights.  The UN human rights treaties are at the core of the international system for the promotion and protection of human rights. Every UN member state is a party to one or more of the nine major human rights treaties. It is a universal human rights legal system which applies to virtually every child, woman or man in the world.

-  UN Human Rights Treaty Information Portal -  The purpose of this portal is to enhance the access of human rights victims and their advocates to electronic information concerning the human rights treaty system.

World Bank - The World Bank is a vital source of financial and technical assistance to developing countries around the world. World Health Organization - WHO is the directing and coordinating authority for health within the United Nations system. International Labour Organization - The main aims of the ILO are to promote rights at work, encourage decent employment opportunities, enhance social protection and strengthen dialogue on work-related issues.
